Q. When and where can I buy the "Evil Eyes" visor pictured on the home page?
A. The Evil Eyes visor is not currently in production. It is a feature that may be available in a future line of visors. Keep checking for updates.
Q. Do your helmets come in other colors or solids?
A. All Helmets are only available in the colors shown.
Q. What is the base color of the Ghost Rider helmet?
A. The base color for the Ghost Rider is haze gray.
Q.When will the Velocity helmet be available?
A. The Velocity helmet will be available to purchase 2011.
Q. Are you going to release
a Marine Corps Helmet?
A. Our Marine Corps helmet will
be released 2011.
Q. Are you going to have a flip-up or modular helmet?
A. Yes, it will be available 2011. It will be available initially in white, silver and black.
Q. What is the liner made of?
A. Our helmets are lined with a plush, hypo-allergenic liner that wicks moisture away from your skin. The liner is fully removable and machine-washable..
Q. What certifications do your helmets have?
A. Our R-Series and V-Series helmets are DOT and ECE 22-05 Certified.
Q. I found the dealer nearest to me on your website but they don’t have the helmet I want in stock; what now?
A. Any of the retailers listed on our site are Authorized Akuma Dealers and can order any helmet that is available.
Q. What does it take to become an Authorized Akuma Dealer?
A. You can fill out and fax in the dealer application that can be found in the “Dealer Section” of the Akuma website. When your application is received, you will receive a call from the Akuma sales staff and be notified of the status of your application.
Q. What are my shipping options?
A. If you place your order via the website your order will be shipped via UPS Ground. You will have the option when you order of Next Day, 2 Day Air or Ground. All orders placed before 1:00 p.m. will usually ship the same day if the item is in stock. Orders placed after 1:00 p.m. will normally ship the following business day. If you prefer another method of shipping please contact us via phone or email.

Q. Is there a warranty on
my helmet?
A. There is a one year warranty on the Integrated Power System and any helmet defects. This does not include normal wear and tear.
Q. What if
I’m not happy with my helmet.
A. If you are unsatisfied with your helmet and do not want to exchange it for a different size, finish or model, you have up to 30 days to return it. The helmet must be returned with the purchase receipt, packing slip or invoice and the helmet must be in new, unused condition. After we receive and inspect the helmet, you will be issued a refund less shipping.

Q. What visor comes with
my helmet?
A. All helmets come with a standard clear visor. Any additional visor is an after market purchase.
Q. Can all
the helmets use the same visor?
A. The visors for each helmet model are different. For example, V1 visors can fit on any of our V1 helmet shells. However, V1 visors are not compatible with our V2 or R-Series Models. All R-Series helmets use the same visor.
Q. Will the
Tint on Demand™Gemini Visor retrofit to my Akuma
Helmet?
A. You will be able to use the T.O.D.™ Gemini Visor on any full-face Akuma helmet.
Q. When will the Tint on
Demand™ Gemini Visor be available for purchase?
A.The T.O.D.™Gemini Visor will be available for purchase 2011.
Q. How much will the Tint
on Demand™ Gemini Visor cost?
A. Price will be announced upon release.
